Shop Studios is a 20-year-old Art Production Shop, Museum, Film Studio, and Studio Event Space located in Midtown, Manhattan, NY.

The company, started by Jacques Rosas (and funded with the money he made driving Midtown’s first pedicab), has grown to be a go-to studio for ABC, NBC, CBS and other household network names to shoot their exclusive news interviews. Jacques and the Shop Studios crew cater and provide props for set styling, assist with styling and lighting design for these shoots. Everyone from Bieber to Bono has appeared at Shop Studios!

PR agencies reach out to Shop Studios for design services or to host PR events at the Studio. Shop Studios policy is to go beyond expectations— we have never had an unsatisfied customer.

Jacques spent a number of years as a director of non-profit, Greenpeace as a political activist and designer of massive multi-story art installations. After leaving Greenpeace, he started Shop Studios, with Eric Steding.

Jacques is now a prolific fine artist, creating and selling paintings and featuring his own work on TV sets– anyone who watches the news has seen Jacques’ Studio and his artwork.
